Build story
Me and my brother in law picked Horton up on Father’s Day 2019. I bought it from a young dad who needed to reroof his house and this is how he paid for the shingles. It was barely running when I picked it up. I’ve been just running down the check list of regular maintenance items and it’s running a little better each time. It’s got a dorky dual jet carburetor but I discovered that most of the replacement parts I’ve needed can come right off a quadrajet. I did add an electric choke this year and it pops right off now. I’ve spruced up the rims and added the chrome trim rings. I touched up the bumpers and the tailgate lettering. Mostly what I’ve done is clean it and drive it.\r

It’s mostly a blank canvas. It was built in Janesville WI. Lived mostly in Kansas. Now it’s back in WI. \r
It originally had a 307 but the current engine is a 305 out of an 81 C10. \r
It needs a little of everything but I’m starting with the maintenance things before I do anything else
