Purity? Can anyone ever say they are pure?, They are one without crime?, without fault?,- one that exists hidden to be only so regular they are forgotten? \r

The Ford Fairmont,- A World Car.\r
\r
I present my 1980 Ford Fairmont the "B" movie car, the one everyone knew but no one kept, swept aside for its plain, flat, stern self. Taken up only as its underlying truth, as "learning to drive",- Its underlying pride, as "the first car",- its underlying potential as "the sleeper",- and its physical self as mine. \r
\r
This beauty as perfectly stock as she rolled off the St. Thomas plant line on June 25, 1980, headed for a Ford Dealer in Saskatchewan. The options list would be endless on a business card to today's standards but twice as plentiful as most for the time, featuring the following stunning options.\r
\r
Immersion Block Heater\r
Front License Plate Bracket\r
Cigar Lighter\r
Metric Speedometer\r
Electric Clock\r
Power Steering\r
Power Disc Brakes\r
Rear Bumper Guards\r
Bumper Rub Strips\r
AM Radio\r
Interior Accent Group\r
Exterior Decor Group\r
Lower Bodyside Protection\r
Heavy Duty Battery\r

The old reliable 3.3L 200 Inline-6 engine paired with the remarkable C-4 Automatic Transmission and the gas crisis of a 7.5 rear end offered the most conventional for the time 2.73 axle ratio to fit, a real speed demon. This car means more then a alternative Foxbody, its a light into "What was" and an appreciation into "How was" the era of a time and the thoughts of a generation. I've taken what most deem a throw away car in good shape and continued to restore and care for, every piece of rubber and seal replaced brand new to original quality, detailed and taken care of, cleaned. The underside sandblasted and coated with POR-15 to protect it, The body cleared to preserve the paint left intact, with every required maintenance done and redone, from oil, to lube, bearings to chains even filters to carb.\r
\r
I am the second main owner of this fantastic square artwork, given all original receipts and maintenance work, even the original VIN and option punch card used on the day it was configured for order. The kilometers original when I purchased sat less then 99,000-ish km (62,000-ish miles) enough to just break it in. Every piece cared for and loved from the original owner and eventually to me even the Ford branded plastic bag the owners manual and sold stickers placed in. Yes those are what I'm told to be bullet holes in the rear bumper, some peoples kids...\r
\r
A vehicle that saw the crime of the world, drove during some of the greatest accidents in human history a background in daily life during the passing of Chernobyl, The World Wide Web, and terrorist attacks changing world courses and one that continues to drive past the current viral events to continue its background identity and if you just look at it, would you just look at it? it'll be joking along the way. Now Drink the same tea.\r
