301 Pontiac swapped out for a 428cu Pontiac, th350 trans, 12 bolt rear end with 4:11 gears, edelbrock intake, Quadrajet carb off a 77’ T/A, Pontiac 670 heads off a GTO, hooker headers, comp cams roller rockers, mildly aggressive cam, hurst lighting rod shifter, custom air brushed bird with more air brushed art all over the car. Weld draglite wheels 275 tires in the rear and 235 front.
Build story
The vehicle was originally my fathers car back in the 80’s, it was his pride and joy, the car he met my mother with. He swapped the motor out back in the 80’s and had it sent out to get built, all the mods done to it were done by him. As time went on he married my mother and had me and my brothers while the car sat in a garage piled with junk on it for 17 years. He passed away in 2006 and the car stayed in storage the entire time not being started since the late 90’s. It wasn’t until around 2013 that we pulled the car out of storage, brought it home and I’ve been slowly trying to restore it over the years. I am 22 now with limited knowledge but with some help from friends and google it’s slowly coming back to its former glory.
