Stock block and head, Doubled up headgaskets to drop C:R, KP39 vnt turbo from TDI, external wastegate w/7psi spring, NXS manual boost controller dialed in around 13-14lbs of boost, Reflect tuning software, 42lb injectors, 3inch MAF housing, FMIC, stock 1.8t recirculation valve, ported stock intake manifold, 3inch downpipe, stock 020 trans w/pelolok and USRT short throw, AC delete, front and rear swaybars removed, adjustable coilovers w/ 593lb/in front springs 360lb/in rear springs, HD front strut mounts, poly rear strut mounts, poly control arm bushings, poly rear beam bushings, fully gutted - carpet, sound deadening and unused wiring removed throughout, rear doors fully gutted w/lexan windows, rear deck removed, front door bars removed (power windows and mirrors retained) AC accumulator removed from HVAC, hood and trunk lid gutted, bumper rebar trimmed away - it weighs 2220lbs with a full tank of gas and the spare/jack/tools in the back (I can get that down to under 2100 with the jack/spare and passenger seat removed with less fuel), Innovate wideband AFR controller and gauge, boost pressure gauge, oil temp and pressure gauges, exhaust temp gauge, (Yo dog, I heard you like gauges) and some other odds and ends. Shares its 15x7 Rota Grids w/dz102s with its brother the Shitbox.

Build story

Originally built for the Grassroots Motorsports $2,000 challenge. Never fully completed, sold, blown up, and forgotten. I bought it for $400 and rebuilt it into what it is now, which isn’t much, but it’ll hang ?
