Build story

It started as just a plow truck and snow balled from there. It's not finished but it's getting close. There is so much I have built and done its hard to list it all. This is the fourth engine that's been in it. All were stock bottom end. Reused head bolts and headgaskets. Lol never had a sealing issue. Learning how to tune a turbo ls has been a steep curve along with fueling issues. After switching to e85 from premium it has been all good. The 6.0 with the turbo really makes this 6500 pounds worth of truck move. Everything on here has been built or rebuilt by me. I have been battling health problems so having this to work on has been a good distraction. As a result the budget has been super tight. Luckily I'm a parts hoarder so I didn't have to buy much. Lol. The silver is left over from my cousins truck. I was going to paint for him but he committed suicide before that happened. So I went with this color for him. Cars and trucks were what we did together. It's satin charcoal metallic. I still need to paint the front clip. Then I'm going to bedline the bottom of it. I built it to be used and have fun. I wanted to go rock crawling this summer but that might be on hold due to the current lock down. The green blazer is the one I rolled, it donated most of the drivetrain. The blue one is what I started with, looked ok outside but it was rotted out in the floor.
