Loose Nut Garage

Don't be fooled by this old thing.  I have pulled Jeeps out of holes with it.  It even has decent articulation.  Deep water is fine, but water comes into the cabin everywhere.  The thing is crazy loud on the highway and max speed is 110km/h but that would likely cause engine damage if prolonged.

I have welded in some new floor sheet metal, but I have come to understand that this one will never be perfect.  My goal is to make it safe and cool.  I hope to keep the stock fuel injection.  I have a new interior, wheels and a paint job scheduled (turquoise with white roof).  I will lower it one tooth to give it some stance.  Can't wait to cruise this.

Finally own a classic VW and it's a Squareback!!!

Every once in a while you have to sell a project to finance the others.  Besides, this one was terrifying on the highway... I'd rather be on a bike!  Driving beside a truck on the QEW (local highway) was always a "code brown" moment.
